Due to the nature of the design of the facility, with 4 performance spaces in close proximity to one another, there is a chance for sound bleed. Please be considerate when setting sound levels for your show and keep them to a reasonable level.
The lobby of Matchbox 2 is directly under the booth for Matchbox 1 and noise in that lobby can often be heard in the booth. Generally that noise does not cross over in to the theater itself.
Ways to help reduce sound bleed
Keep booth windows closed at all times
The volume for show feed is on the wall in each booth and should be able to provide appropriate amplification of sound in the theater.
Keep sound doors to the theaters closed as much as possible.
These doors are designed to help provide sound isolate from the hallways. When opened, you are breaching that sound barrier.
Please be considerate when entering and exiting booth doors, in particular when entering and exiting the doors around Matchbox 1 and 2. Those door close very loudly when allowed to close on their own.
