Using Soundcraft console on DANTE

In order to use one of the Soundcraft Expression consoles as a monitor console in Matchbox 4, you need to install the Dante card in to it.  It replaces the MADI card that's in the console for Matchbox 1, 2 and 3.  

Once the Soundcraft patched in to the Dante network, you will then need to change clock settings on the Soundcraft and on the Dante controller software that is on the Matchbox 4 iMac.  

On the Soundcraft, under the system menu, select External for the clock option. 

On the Dante Controller software, set the Soundcraft as the Master, and then enable sync to external.  If these settings are not correct, the monitor rig will pop loudly and randomly.
