Powering Down Lighting Consoles

How to power down the Ion / Element Lighting Consoles

Please do not use the “power” button on the lighting console to power down the console.  In the current version of the EOS operating system, this is no longer a safe way to power down the console.

To power down the Ion or Element consoles, please use the Browser Menu. The browser menu will be on one of the two monitors screens.  It will appear on the lower right of the screen. 

The browser menu will very likely be collapsed, so when you look at the screen, look for the triangle in the lower right.  It will look something like this.

Click the triangle to open the Browser Menu.

Once the menu is open, you will see the various options in the Browser Menu.  One of them will be “Power Off Console.”  Double click that to power down the console.
